a tl;dr review of the for the #2020 after using it for three days:

1. it's very well made
2. it's heavy AF
3. the tilt positions are going to drive people insane when we get back on airplanes - needs like another 20 degrees
4. it types accurately for fast touch-typists πŸ‘‹
5. touchpad is pretty great
6. it's very heavy
7. and swipes you instinctively use will work
8. it's missing a function row and an escape key

I don't know if I'll keep it.

i just explained the scandalous youtube sensation "my drunk kitchen" with "it was a simpler time,"

i can recommend this USD$40 usb-c dock for the #2020 β€” clamps on and gives pass through power, hdmi out, *sd card reader* micro SD too. one of them headphone jacks y'all are obsessed with and some extra ports for external storage or tethered shooting or whatever you're into, baby.

β€ͺOccasional request to book authors: if possible, please consider also publishing on platforms other than Kindle.‬

β€ͺI get they're the big one. But not everyone can shop there or wants to support Amazon as a company.

At the least, the market could use more bookseller diversity.‬

Today I've fixed 's idiotic keybindings in their applications for by using to override and use standard macOS/Cocoa/emacs line-edit keybindings. They could use some polish and maybe more accurate actions if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I changed my mind and deleted a 500
char edict against the sloppily made, down-spec boredom generators lacking in any sort of acknowledgement or respect for the fact that they're capable of holding tens of thousands of books-worth of human civilization, that are .

It was opinionated and heavy-handed.

p.s. sucks. please just start using the good displays you probably invented 20 g-damn years ago because this is like merit-badge-level bad. SENT FROM MY KOBO EREADER

shoot with both eyes open imo (oh shoot tootle doesn’t do ? this post contains a photograph, a portrait of the artist in sweet sweet monochrome in the reflection of the side view mirror, objects are closer than they appear)

calling something "native" when it's built on Electron should be illegal

i am going to see my kids next week! take that, coronavirus. doing a 13 hour drive though πŸš™ πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚

I should have ordered the big iPad a week ago, now i'm all worried it will be delivered when i'm road tripping to my kids. Apple usually ships earlier than they estimate, right? 😬

today i ordered the big iPad and it should all arrive next week. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

my server has a library that is mostly and reef footage. i probably have about 48 hours of undersea adventure up in here. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»

whew. glad i got that all off my chest. πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‚

the companies that think mail is still a competitive marketing strategy are bleeding the mail service dry like ticks. the environmental impact alone is worth doing this, nevermind the fact that it would save the usps and ensure americans can actually send a letter or package and have it get delivered, even if the recipient lives outside of town on a farm that was once sufficiently addressed as a street addressed as "rural route one".

statements, receipts, payroll stubs, mortgage letters, utilities - let those still be treated the same as they are, but the rest of it should pay regular postage rates, *or even more*. all they're doing is delivering recycling materials across the country. this is yet another scam on americans to subsidize the advertising budgets of *banks* of all people! πŸ˜‚

the bulk mail advertising, lending, soliciting, and credit card offers and all of it gets on trucks and planes and driven in jeeps to be carried to my mailbox to be read by *no one* and we charge those senders *less money* than regular postage you and i pay to mail something, because it's in bulk.

i went through my daily digest emails from Informed Delivery and while i don't know about you, i personally open less than 20% of what letter carriers deliver to me and i read less than half of that. this includes envelopes addressed to me, and those addressed to RESIDENT.
